Though the Searadithian Empire was unable to defeat Orthenam and the runaway houses during the reunification war, Yares and Yoroko were largely successful commanders, restoring several colonies to searadithian control.

Their continuing duty as noblemen is to come to the aid of the Emperor and serve in times of war. And in times of peace to receive land, collect taxes, and govern a portion of the Emperor’s citizens.

Each noble family within House Vartok have the right to a seat on the council and after a recent death of one of the members, the Tawik family are next in line.
